Dubai Mall is huge , you can spend a day there, theres an aquarium with 10 million liters of water, sharks, a tunnel you can walk through inside the watertank, an aquatic zoo, ice rink, etc.
Marina is nice also, many restaurants there, you can rent a bike with your creditcard and just bike around the pedestrian area by the water, very enjoyable.
Ibn Battuta mall is [very impressive, its built in 6 different styles](http://www.doubleappleshisha.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/ibn-batutta2_hdr_std.jpg), Egyptian, Indian, Persian, Chinese, [Andalusian and Tunesian](http://www.yadig.com/uploads/biz-logo/ibn_ph_alb_170520110438.jpg), and the architecture and[ design are stunning](http://www.jally.de/pages/wallpaper/bilder/staedte/shopping-ibn-battuta-mall.JPG).
you should definately do Desert Safari, you drive to the desert and do dune bashing over 10 meter tall dunes, in a convoy of 4x4s, then you can ride camels, smoke shisha, get a proper arabic BBQ while watching bellydance and other entertainment.
From my company, [Desert Adventures](http://www.da-globaldrives.com/Desert%20Adventures/tours-body.shtml), we offer around 40 different excursions in Dubai and the area, so there’s plenty of things to do. Depends on your budget really, just like any area.
Ski Dubai is mostly popular with the locals, but if you want to try and ski in the desert, why not? 200AED (about 60$) gets you 2 hours on the slopes. And its in Mall of the emirates, so also, huge mall.
Wild Wadi and Aquaventure are two great waterparks , definately worth a visit. One is by Burj Al Arab, the other by Atlantis.
you can go and take a abra ride on the creek, 1AED (30 cents) per person gets you across, or you can give the driver 20 AED (6$) and have the whole boat for yourself.. that way, you can tell him to go slower and you can really enjoy the water ride.
Try the dhow cruise in the creek too, very cool to see the flickering lights at night while munching on food and drinking beer/wine on a traditional arabic wooden ship.
Oh, and there are PLENTY of great clubs and restaurants. You won’t be bored, trust me.
