Brooklyn meshing into the Manhattan sunset

I have determined that [this building](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6756922,-73.9684726,3a,75y,260.03h,99.82t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1saO3NvPVOqTGIC2v_WGHyTQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en) is the ugly brick one on the left side of the frame. If you pan slightly right, you can see the very nice ornamented building just to its left in the picture (this is a school). Also, given that [this building](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6743676,-73.9672135,3a,75y,331.24h,115.67t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sF0pMHvLcPZtoidhIEt_5xQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en) is almost certainly on the bottom-left of the frame (you can notice the cornice matches, and the white square from the brick building to the left is just barely in frame on the photo. Also, if you pan roughly 90 degrees to the right, across Underhill, you see the building with a shitton of telephone equipment on the roof, so from there, we can establish a good line of sight. To make is easier, the patch of grass on the roof of the Barclay’s Center isn’t finished and forms a clear line which I can safely conclude is an exact continuation of the alignment of [Pacific St](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.681731,-73.9730658,379m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en). Given some rough estimates, I think that would put the photographer right about [here](https://www.google.com/maps/place/500+Park+Pl,+Brooklyn,+NY+11238/@40.6749257,-73.9600584,3a,75y,159.38h,103.95t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s18LKyrhHUpIFjIW4vwbwVg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo2.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3D18LKyrhHUpIFjIW4vwbwVg%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D86.547867%26pitch%3D0!7i13312!8i6656!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c25ba045c94c1d:0x6d316b7fb17b002!6m1!1e1?hl=en), though most likely not on the roof of the building, but a drone somewhere above it – I don’t think that building is high enough for the vantage point, though it is on higher ground than the subject of the photograph, so maybe not much higher… [This building is more likely](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.675341,-73.9576987,3a,75y,345.27h,118.76t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sTE5mfac0qt1zS7D9U64FGw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1?hl=en), as it is taller and I think matches the angle better, but at this point, I can’t be of much help – I am not a scientist. Anyway, yes. That puts it in Crown Heights, but just on the border with Prospect Heights.

Edit: Way off. Probably from the roof of [this building](https://www.google.com/maps/place/500+Park+Pl,+Brooklyn,+NY+11238/@40.6719698,-73.9638802,3a,75y,346.31h,107.95t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sMtntwhb4V6h2xMAX2pHyAw!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DMtntwhb4V6h2xMAX2pHyAw%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D320.44574%26pitch%3D0!7i13312!8i6656!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c25ba045c94c1d:0x6d316b7fb17b002!6m1!1e1?hl=en). and I say that with 99% confidence.
